Hanns.G HG281D 28" LCD Monitor


Everybody wants a nice big LCD monitor on their desk, but doesn't want to pay the $1,000 or more that many of the 26-30" models cost. There are a few bargain models out there, but often you get what you pay for. Will the HG281D from Hannspree subsidiary Hanns.G be any different? The HG281D features a native resolution of 1920x1200, and at 28" in size, it seems like quite a steal for under $700 (you can find it from some online stores closer to $600). Sure, it's basic—there's only a VGA and HDMI connector, with not even a USB port in sight. But if all you want is a basic, large PC monitor, you don't want to spend hundreds of dollars more, right?
